1.3 acres to be acquired for the project

Deputy Commissioner of Dharwad Nitesh Patil has mentioned that the authorities would purchase 1.3 acres of land for the Elevated Corridor project at Kittur Chennamma Circle in Hubballi and ₹25 crore had been put aside for the goal.

Speaking at the stakeholders assembly at the KCCI auditorium in Hubballi on Friday, Mr. Patil assured the members that care would be taken to be certain that the normal public didn’t face a lot problem throughout the execution of the project.

He mentioned that in the first part, a four-lane flyover would be constructed on the street connecting Gadag and Vijayapura roads to Kittur Chennamma Circle. A 750 m elevated street would be constructed from Ambedkar Circle to the junction. In the similar manner, a 440 m elevated street would be constructed on Vijayapura street, he mentioned.

Regarding Hosur Circle, which is one other junction going through the downside of congestion, the DC mentioned that the officers of National Highway Authority (NHAI) had been given the suggestion of setting up a rotary flyover at the circle.

On the 4 km stretch between Ok.C. Circle and Gabbur Cross, which has been omitted in the elevated hall project, Mr. Patil mentioned {that a} flyover would be constructed at a complete price of ₹368 crore by funds mobilised from the Huballi Dharwad Urban Development Authority (HDUDA) and different grants.
