Delhi students excited to be back in schools – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Delhi schools which have been closed for the previous 10 months due to the coronavirus pandemic, reopened on Monday and there may be nice enthusiasm among the many students who say they like regular courses in college to on-line courses.

“We have told the children to also bring their Covid reports and submit them to the schools, this will keep us and other children safe.”

Medical rooms in schools have been transformed to Covid-19 isolation rooms.

A faculty trainer instructed IANS that “It was great meeting the children. There were a lot of challenges during the online classes. We are expecting that the number of children in the school will increase in the coming days.”

At the Government Girls Secondary School in Delhi, when the tenth class students reached the college, they have been very pleased.

Children have been coming to college carrying masks and all the principles associated to Covid-19 are being noticed in schools.

Government Girls Secondary School Vice Principal Sandhya Singh instructed IANS, “I am very happy. We have 147 children of class 10 present today, while 107 children are yet to come.”

“There are lot of challenges for the teachers in the classes, as along with offline classes, now we also have to do online classes.”

Board exams are to be held in May and now many states have determined to open schools for students of tenth and twelfth courses.

Right now, so much of strictness has been adopted in opening schools, equivalent to written permission of the mother and father of the students is critical. There will be no bodily exercise in the schools and tips have to be displayed all over the place.

The coronavirus pandemic in Delhi has now been largely managed, though the menace stays, which is why persons are being instructed to observe security measures.
