Gujarat: Marks obtained in Class 9 periodic tests and Class 10 unit tests to decide results

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Thursday issued the rules for end result preparation of sophistication 10 common college students, because the state authorities had determined to mass promote class 10 college students.

As per the rules issued by the GSHSEB, issued to all district training officers Thursday, marks obtained in Class 9 periodic tests and Class 10 unit tests shall be thought of for preparation of Class 10 results.

While the consolidation of results by colleges has been scheduled from June 4 until June 10, these are to be uploaded on the board’s web site from June 8 until 17. Following which the board will declare on-line results in the final week of June and, mark sheets and certificates shall be distributed in the second week of July.

To put together Class 10 results, every faculty will type a (*10*) underneath the chairmanship of the principal.

While faculty’s inner analysis shall be executed for topics chosen by the scholars on the idea of pointers issued by the state board and uploaded on the board’s on-line software, the GSHSEB will award grace marks missing to clear the themes to college students. However, ‘D’ could be talked about in their report playing cards.

“Those students who fail to achieve 26 marks in each subject (out of total 80) and 7 marks out of 20, will be mass promoted. In the report card’s result column of such students, ‘qualified for secondary school certificate’ will be mentioned,” the GSHSEB’s pointers said.

As per the break-up of evaluation, marks obtained by the coed in first and second periodic tests of fifty marks every in Class 9 are to be transformed into 40 per cent. Both these scores carry a most rating of 20 marks.

Also, for Class 10, the evaluation will take note of most 30 marks for first unit tests performed offline and on-line in Class 10 and 10 marks for Class 10 unit check. Both these are to be transformed into 37.5 per cent and 40 per cent, respectively. The first unit check was performed from March 19 until March 27.

Students’ results have to be ready on this method for every topic chosen by the candidate and grades from A to D to be awarded. In case a scholar stays absent in any of those evaluation standards, 0 has to be awarded for the topic.

The state authorities is ready for the rules from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for evaluating Class 12 college students.
