KIIT, KISS to be first in country to introduce Chess in school curriculum – Times of India

BHUBANESWAR: KIIT and KISS will be the first-ever instructional establishment in the country to introduce Chess in the school curriculum. The All India Chess Federation (AICF) in affiliation with the All Odisha Chess Association (AOCA) has determined to introduce this in the school curriculum.

According to the coverage of the International Chess Federations’ (FIDE), Chess ought to be included in school stage research curriculum. AICF and AOCA have chosen Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) because the first school for introducing Chess in its tutorial curriculum.

AICF secretary Bhagat Singh Chouhan, AICF president Sanjay Kapoor, Ranjan Mohanty, president of AOCA, and Debabrata Bhatta, secretary of AOCA, introduced this right here on Saturday that the KISS will be the maiden enterprise in together with Chess in its research curriculum.
