Pegasus Spyware News: Will probe proof of misuse, shut down system if crucial; Israel’s NSO on Pegasus row | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Israel-based agency NSO, the developer of the Pegasus spyware, on Wednesday stated it can totally examine any credible proof of misuse of its applied sciences amid revelations that the software program has been used to snoop on outstanding leaders and journalists.
The assertion follows a world investigation revealed on Sunday by 17 media organisations, led by the Paris-based non-revenue journalism group Forbidden Stories, claiming the adware was used to focus on the telephones of politicians, journalists, authorities officers and human rights activists.
