The three elected organizations of the University are waging a common struggle to fight this injustice and this struggle will continue till the demands are met.”

The PUTA members stated that the tenure of adhoc, work cost, contract workers has not been prolonged but and even after the High Court has issued orders for extension of tenure, however the Vice-Chancellor has not issued the required orders concerning these extensions. They stated that on account of this delay a big part of the workers had not been paid their salaries for a number of months.
