The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday set a goal of producing over 50 lakh jobs in the private and non-private sectors by March subsequent 12 months.
Through the “Mission Rojgar”, over 50 lakh youth will get an opportunity to apply for jobs in government departments in addition to the personal sector by March 2021, an official spokesperson stated.
An assist desk shall be created in each division, which can inform the youth about employment programmes at government departments, he stated.
“A database of employment will be prepared in the state. In this regard, an app and a web portal is also being developed by the Directorate of Training and Employment. Data related to employment will be updated every fortnight on the portal,” he stated.
The whole marketing campaign shall be performed by means of the infrastructure and industrial growth commissioner (IIDC) whereas a high-level committee headed by the chief secretary will monitor it. In each district, a committee shall be arrange underneath the chairmanship of the DM who will put together an motion plan on the district-level for jobs, he stated. The directorate of coaching and employment in collaboration with the personal sector will organise employment festivals, he added.
